When I see your arm, your arm becomes my arm. Performance video, glass objecs, 11min 51sec
The act of carving glass is a struggle to connect my body and mind. During the carving, glass resonates with me as an extended part of my body and another me is conceived.
(The sound was recorded during a group practice during the workshop week.)
It’s starting to penetrate here and there.
There is no pain at all.
That is movement or struggling to reach somewhere opposite or each other. In the meantime, the gap with full of vitality reveals as a new creature.
Thoughts make waves inside of me and waves make intentions in an instant. My consciousness makes every path at a rapid pace and everything is decided in a moment.
When I stop, I realize that the world also stops.
Flowing, sticking, flowing, sticking.
Cold downed life emits sharp light.
I sigh with the last energy of life. The sigh becomes a huge bubble of air and stays in space.
